Can you boot an MTS/TB5800 remotely?
There are two way to reboot an MTS/TB5800 remotely. If you are remoted in via browser or VNC and can navigate to the SYSTEM screen then you can press Control Q and you get a menu to select reboot. If you cannot navigate then you can reboot via command using the following remote control commands:
telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 8000 (where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of the 5800)
*rem
*idn?
This should return a response from the unit confirming that you are connected. Then type:
:system:reboot
The telnet port should close soon after as the unit reboot.
