40 Certifier headsets not supported on MPO

Problem:

My headsets, for my Viavi 40G Certifier, do not work when I am doing MPO/MTP testing.

Solution:

This is normal. The headsets require bidirectional hardware such as copper or individual fiber modules. The MPO/MTP modules are undirectional (Local is a power meter and remote is source) hence they do not support headset operation.
