The Polatis® range of optical matrix switches are high-performance, fully non-blocking all-optical matrix switches, available with port counts from 4x4 up to 192x192. Based on Polatis' patented DirectLight® optical switching technology that has been proven in the most challenging defense applications and field proven in a wide range of commercial applications by major network equipment manufacturers, they are designed to meet the highest performance, security and reliability needs of mission-critical applications with low optical loss, compact size, low power requirements and fast switching speeds.

The product range includes:

  • Optical Switch Tray (OST) available in single-mode versions from 8x8 up to 48x48, with internal optical power monitors and variable optical attenuation available as options.
  • Optical Switch Tray (OST) in multimode versions at 8x8 and 16x16,
