Is there a way to use a JDSU DSAM’s Ethernet port as a cable modem to surf the internet from a customer’s PC?

First the DAM cannot perform like a customer’s modem. Meaning you cannot connect the RF cable to the DSAM and the Ethernet cable to PC. However you can use the Ethernet on the DSAM to connect to the customers modem and run throughput, Ping and Web accesses test to verify internet connectivity. In order to get the high speed on Ethernet the DSAM should have the GigE Ethernet option.
