    The tunable OTDR in the DWDM fiber test head enables the user to reserve one of 44 DWDM band wavelengths as a continuous test or monitoring wavelength to test all trunk/feeder fibers while in live transport service.

    This Optical Network Management Solution (ONMS) includes a fiber test head with an embedded tunable OTDR and switch as well as the ONMS database and reporting engine. The tunable OTDR in the DWDM fiber test head enables the user to reserve one of 44 DWDM band wavelengths as a continuous test or monitoring wavelength to test all trunk/feeder fibers while in live transport service.
