Download Instructions:

  • Visit https://5800-100g.updatemyunit.net
  • Click on the flag icon to load from that regional server. Download to PC. 
    • File Size: 1.265GB
  • Once download completes double click on file and select USB drive and hit OK to uncompact files to USB.

Installation Instructions:

Place USB on the 5800 and press SYSTEM, UPGRADES and UPGRADE FROM USB. Press START UPGRADE. Ensure the AC power supply is connected during the upgrade. See upgrade procedures, under supporting documentation, for additional methods.

  • Prerequisites: If current software is less than BERT 25.0 then it is recommended that an interim upgrade to 25.0 be performed first.

  • If current software is equal to or greater than BERT 25.0 but less than BERT 31.1.1, then it is recommended that an interim upgrade to 31.1.1 be performed before upgrading to newer or latest software versions.

  • Older versions can be obtained by going to http://5800-100g.updatemyunit.net/ and clicking View All Software Releases at bottom of the page.
