Solution Steps

Release 3.2 supports now the telnet commands to reboot the unit. To reboot the MTS-5800 follow this step-by-step procedure:

Open the DOS box
Type: telnet 8000
*rem
SYST:REBoot

You will see the IP address (for example: telnet 192.168.0.60 8000) in the DOS Box The entry of *rem and SYST:REBoot is hidden and not displayed. In PUTTY open a RAW connection to port 8000, like in the Remote Control Command guide. Using Putty you'll see the entered commands on the screen Alfredo Fierro EMEA TAC
