HST-3000 will not communicate with SIM module
HST-3000 Not Communicating      
  1.  Power Off HST-3000 and Remove ¼ Turn thumb screw from the rear of HST-3000
  2.  Inspect pins on Base unit and SIM module (Look for bent pins on both the base unit and SIM module). Verify that SIM module was seated and screwed down properly
  3.  If Pin is Bent on Base unit or SIM send it in for Repair
  4. Select System/Tools Soft key and Select Restore to Factory Settings HST will shut off Power it back on if you still have the error message send the HST in for repair
  5.  Contact Viavi Solutions Customer Care Department and Request an RMA

  7. Note: Typical communiations problems are normally Associated with a Bent Pin on either the Base unit or on the SIM module. Typical error messages may include Modem error 6 or Flash Boot Error
