OLTS-85 Tier 1 Switching from SM to MM

How do you switch between the Singlemode and Multimode test ports of the Viavi OLTS-85 for Loss/Length Testing?

Switching the test to be performed, under Loss/Length testing, is controlled by the test configuration selected.  Once inside the Loss/Length application, press the MENU button and select Test Setup. Chose the desired test setup from the list. If test setups have not yet been defined then press MENU and chose NEW. Create a new setup and then edit it for the desired test parameters. One of those parameters is SM or MM fiber.
