Fiber Inspection Optical Settings

When is it necessary to create a new optical setting for fiber inspection with my Viavi fiber microscope?

A new optical setting may be required for several reasons. If you attach a tip that contains its own lens that has not yet had a profile created for it then you would need to create a new optical setting. Creating a new optical setting is also one of the steps used in troubleshooting image problems (too much light , too little light or zones not aligning correctly with fiber core). Always be sure to use a pristine fiber with no impairments when creating an optical setting.
