FLASH BOOT error occurs when launching the HST Broadcom DSL application
Knowledge Base - Solution
FLASH BOOT error occurs when launching the Broadcom DSL application on the HST.
This hardware error indicates that the HST mainframe cannot communicate properly with the module. Power down the HST and remove the BDCM module. Inspect all connectors on the back of the HST and on the module for damage. If damage is not visible, reseat the module and launch the application. If reseating does not correct the problem and if you have access to another HST mainframe, try switching the module to that unit to determine if the fault is with the module or the HST mainframe itself. If this does not work, the module must be returned for repair. However, if the module does work on a different HST, the original HST mainframe should be returned for repair.
